inxs - this rock band was formed in 1977 in Sydney, Australia. They started as a pub - rockband, and even when their style changed to synthpop, their Rolling Stones influence was still explicit. Aside from the bands' great hits, such as "disappear", "elegantly-wasted" and "never-tear-us-apart" that are available on this site as ringtones, inxs got headlines after lead singer, Michael Hutchence, hanged himself in a hotel room.
